We are open 5 sessions per week.
Monday to Friday: 9am - 12pm
A typical session..
We open the doors at 9am and a member of staff stays at the door to welcome the children. After saying goodbye to their carers the children have a choice of activities.
At 9.15 the doors are locked and we begin our registration. Two colour groups are joined together and sit for register and a story in either the cosy corner area or on the magic mat.
After register we open the doors so children can have access to our large outdoor area. If the weather is wet we supply coats and wellies so this area can be used all year round.
During the session we offer a snack to children in their colour groups with their keyworker. We provide a healthy snack with lots of fruit, as well as a choice of milk or water.
Our activities are child lead and the children are encouraged to make choices from a wide range of activities and resources.
During a session the children will be involved in a focused activity with their keyworker. This activity is linked to the current topic we are working on.
At the end of the session all children gather together in cosy corner for song time, musical instruments, or to use our singing bag before being called to the exit to go home.
